the word for snake (but better)
a performance born from Sofia Borges' invitation to write and perform a work specifically for her exhibition in December 2017 at Float Gallery, Athens (Greece)

in this solo performance the audience is engaged in a theater experience within the exhibition space, combining spoken word and choreographic movement to create an embodied form of storytelling, generating multiple, constantly shifting mythological narratives which echo and expand upon the formal and metaphysical threads present in Sofia Borges’ photographic works, giving a living form to Franz Boas’ quote :

“It would appear mythological worlds have been built up only to be shattered again, and new worlds have been built from the fragments.”
